In addition to the lessons taught in French during school hours, FANS offers Intensive French classes in the morning before school. 

Students in the Francophone stream attend compulsory intensive French classes before school from Years 1 to 6.

Students study French grammar, vocabulary and spelling.

These 45-minute classes are taught twice weekly, Monday and Thursday mornings, 8:00am - 8:45am, in your child's classroom with their Teacher of French.

IFBS is included in Francophone stream student fees and your child is automatically enrolled for 2025.

First class: Monday 10 Feb, 2025

• Students in the Anglophone stream have the option to enrol in a weekly intensive French class before school, from Years 1 to 6. 
  

• Learning is done in small group settings through fun activities, games, reading, music and an exercise book, focusing on French grammar, vocabulary and spelling.
  

• This 45-minute class is taught weekly, Wednesday morning from 8:00am - 8:45am.

• IFBS Anglophone stream fees are $520/year, paid by term or annually, plus the cost of the exercise book.
