President
President – Frédéric Baudin
Frederic has been a member of the Committee since 2017, and is currently its President. He comes from a multicultural family and developed his passion towards bilingual education when he was Finance Director of the French school in Singapore and saw the benefits in his daughter’s education. He now works as a consultant in PwC and brings his expertise in financial and project management.
Vice-President
Vice-President – Janos Jersch
Janos has been the FANS Vice-President since January 2018 looking after the Bilingual Program. He also leads a task force looking to extend bilingual education to high schools. Having experienced an international education in France, Germany, the US and the UK, Janos is a passionate believer in bilingual and multicultural education. He is a documentary producer-director and consults at leading television broadcasters. He brings his communication expertise and passion for teaching to FANS.
Treasurer
Treasurer – Christine Charron-Doucet
Christine works as Finance Manager for Fighting Chance, an NFP organisation in the disability sector, and was appointed Treasurer of FANS in September 2018. With over 12 years’ experience in accounting across various industries and proud of her French-Canadian heritage, she is delighted to share her expertise and contribute to the success of FANS. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Canada, completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting in France and she is a member of CPA Australia since 2015.
Secretary
Secretary – Marianne Alla
Marianne has been living in Australia on and off for 30 years, growing up in France and in Sydney. She has joined FANS committee early 2020 as its secretary. She is passionate about education, events and bilingualism. Marianne is pleased to be part of such a unique and vibrant community here in Killarney Heights Public School and beyond.
Public Officer
Public Officer – Terrence Moloney
Terrence Moloney was born and raised in Canada and used to spend school holiday breaks in the Dordogne. He currently works at Westpac in its treasury function. Prior to coming to Sydney, he worked in New York, Tokyo, London and Singapore. He has two children who were enrolled in the Killarney Heights Public School’s bilingual program, and who now participate in French classes at Killarney Heights High School and through FANS’ after school programs. He is very pleased to be involved in FANS and hopes to make the programs it offers even better for future generations.
Welcome New Families Officer
Welcome New Families Officer – Emilie Waiss
Emilie has been a FANS member for 9 years and a member of the committee since 2018. She welcomes families new to the program helping them settle with the new school life offering a wide range of advice. This has been very rewarding role and she is delighted to offer her support and knowledge to this dynamic community.
She is thrilled to see how the committee has evolved over the years and wishes to keep improving what’s on offer.
She is a sport and life coach, with an international experience.
Social Activities Coordinator
Social Activities Coordinator – Lionel Puyhardy
Lionel has been looking after all social activities matters since joining the FANS Committee in 2018. He juggles his time with the association with working as an Uber Driver, at the Norther Beaches Hospital, as well as serving as the head coach to the Sydney University Handball Team. It is important to him to the see the Program being extended to the high school. Also, he sees the program as a way to get a vibrant and active multicultural community, in which he takes pride in being an active member and ensuring the membership is looked after.
French Market Leader
French Market Leader – Coralie Andrade
Coralie arrived in Australia in 2016 from Madrid, Spain. Since then she has been involved as one of the volunteers overseeing the French Market, initially looking after logistics and the last 2 years as the leader of the event. She’s also part of the primary school’s sub-committee. She has 2 children at KHPS (11 and 9 years old) and since the beginning of their Australian adventure, she’s taken a break from her career as a Medical Doctor and Project Director in Research & Development in the pharmaceutical industry.
