General Manager

FANS is a not-for-profit association running a French Bilingual program in close partnership with Killarney Heights Public School (KHPS) and offering social activities to its multicultural community including its popular French Market. With more than 600 primary school students enrolled and a vision to develop bilingual education in high school, FANS is looking for its General Manager to bring the association to the next level.

Reporting directly to and in close collaboration with the FANS Committee, the General Manager leads, supports and coordinates the management of FANS activities, including all operational, human resources and financial aspects, and ensures the delivery of outstanding customer service to the members of the association in line with the vision for the association.

The General Manager will also develop excellent relationships with a variety of stakeholders, in particular working alongside Killarney Heights Public School’s executive team, representing the interests of FANS and promoting the objectives of the French bilingual program in the primary and high school setting.

To be considered for this role you will possess experience in a leadership role, good knowledge of financial reporting, strong communication skills, be fluent in English and French  and have a great enthusiasm in driving changes and working for a community and its children.
