Enrolment for English-speakers at Killarney Heights

Enrolments for English-speakers (Anglophones) to the bilingual program need to be renewed every year by August for the start of the next one.

  • If your children are already students at Killarney Heights Public School, please follow Step 2 only.
  • If you are enrolling your child for Kindergarten 2019, please follow the TWO Steps below by 24th of August 2018 for a 2019 start. (For other grades, please contact [email protected]. Previous knowledge of French is required as well as places in requested grades).

  • If you are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident, you must follow the procedure for temporary residents as outlined on the following website DEC International.
  • Please note that it is the responsibility of the family to follow this procedure and the school is not permitted to accept a child’s enrolment until the DEC International has confirmed that the relevant taxes have been paid. At the start of the school year this process can take several days.

Step 2 – Enrol or Re-enrol your children with FANS as English-speakers (anglophones) in a bilingual class in 2019

Enrolments in the bilingual program as an anglophone student are now closed. Please contact  [email protected] if you have any questions.

As an indication, the fees to enroll a child in the bilingual program as an Anglophone student in 2018 are $1,200 for the entire school year.

A non-refundable deposit of $600 is to be paid by 24th August 2018 to Étape 2 : inscrire vos enfants auprès de FANSsecure a place and the second payment (difference between the total enrolment fees for the year and the non-refundable deposit) will need to be made:

  • in March 2019 (Exact date to be confirmed) for students going into Kindy to Year 5
  • in December 2018 (Exact date to be confirmed) for students going into Year 6

Payments of the non-refundable deposit and enrolments need to be received by 24th August 2018 and receipts will be sent via email.

After the 24th August 2018 –  please contact us directly with your enrolment request.

Refund Policy:

  • New Enrolments (kindy or other grades) – francophones “bond” or anglophone “deposit” are not refundable unless the school can’t offer a place at school.
  • Departure while already enrolled at school: a school term’s notice must be received, in writing, at the latest by the Friday of the 1st week of term in order for the “bond” or “advance” to be refunded. For any notice received past that week, the equivalent of a term’s fees will be requested and/or deducted from any “deposit” or “fees” received.
